Popular Sri Lankan band Point Five will feature in a live show on Saturday, March 9, to raise funds for the Federation of Sri Lankan Organisations of Queensland.
Sajitha Anthony, Nadeemal Perera and Dilmin Perera headline the musical act at the iSEE Church auditorium, 308 Seventeen Mile Rocks Rd, Seventeen Mile Rocks, from 6pm.
FSOQ president Jay Weerawardena said the show was organised to build funds for operational expenses for small projects and other causes.
“The need for the fund was badly felt when the Sri Lankan Paralympians visited Brisbane and sought our help,” Dr Weerawardena said. “Fortunately, Sunil Gooneratne and his team at the Sri Lanka Sports Association shouldered that responsibility, supported by others.
“We look forward to your support to make it a success.”
Tickets are VIP $100, Gold $90 and General $75.
