FSOQ plans for busy 2025 with election of office-bearers and project teams

The Federation of Sri Lankan Organisations of Queensland elected its 2025 office-bearers at the annual general meeting on January 16.

Jay Weerawardena and Jayantha Weerasekera were returned as president and secretary respectively.

Among the agenda items were a discussion on community engagement, filling the position of Honorary Consul for Sri Lanka in Queensland, attracting the next generation of members, and plans for cultural performances at FSOQ events.
